As the new
year begins, we often reflect on our goals we set last year and our plans for
the new year. One key point began to resonate with me as I thought about what
ATD Chattanooga would plan to do for 2017: "What do we want to be known
for?" I asked this same question to the board of directors during our
business retreat, and we really worked hard to define ourselves. After much
discussion, we all agreed on a phrase that uniquely identifies what we
want to do for our members and what we want to be known for. The phrase is,
"ATD Chattanooga, The place to gain resources in training and talent
With you, the "member," in mind, we have designed this year's programs around the ATD Competency Model below. Each of these areas are crucial to the success of any business, and as training professionals, we have a responsibility to bring new ideas to our perspectives roles. We are so excited to provide you with new and innovative resources that will help you grow professionally. This year we are committed to providing you with a variety of different programs and networking opportunities.
Thank you, dedicated member and happy new year!
