“The best way to predict your future is to create it”
This quarter’s focus: What doors are opening for you professionally and how can ATD support you? As fall finally sets in and the temperature drops we look towards the end of the year and contemplate the lessons learned in 2016 and the goals we have for 2017. It’s an exciting time for our chapter, as we get ready to announce a new board and plan the programming and events for 2017. As always we welcome any feedback from you about the kind of resources and events that would help you reach your goals.
This month don’t miss the “Big Winners Fail Better” program on October 13th with Glynn Hodges as he discusses the lessons we can learn from failure. Also, we’re still looking for a few more presenters for our “Speed Apping” program on November 10th so if you know of a great app that you wouldn’t mind demonstrating at our meeting please let us know. One of the biggest advantages to being a chapter member is the opportunity you get to network with fellow training professionals. Come join us this fall and catch up with colleagues in the industry. In addition, the board and I look forward to talking with you and would love to hear about any ideas you have for the chapter.
Thank you and see you soon!
