Every year, the Greater Chattanooga Chapter of ASTD gives back to our community. By popular demand, we’re returning to United Way’s Giving Tree, a December event where volunteers help those in need shop for gifts for their loved ones and have them wrapped.
Below are the scheduled times we need volunteers for The Giving Tree and additional information:

Volunteer Job Descriptions:
Shoppers-
Volunteers will assist clients in selecting gifts that are age appropriate. Tables with will be set up with gifts/toys for different age groups, volunteers shoppers will walk with clients through the area and help them with their selection . Once the client has made their selections the volunteer shopper will direct the client to the gift wrapping table.
Gift Wrappers-
Volunteers will be given a client to wrap gifts for by the volunteer shopper. The client’s gifts will be all together in a shopping bag, to make sure they stay together. Once gifts are wrapped, the volunteer gift wrapper will place name tags on the gifts.
