Conflict Resolution

Let’s face it, conflict is a part of life.  Most of us naturally avoid conflict and like to go along to get along.  But some of us, and you know who you are, just run the other way!  Conflict handled improperly can lead to stagnancy, lost relationships, lost time, and lost money.

Proper conflict resolution can help you retain that employee going through a rough patch, and in turn, save you time and money.  Improved communication and negotiation helps you iron out those details with vendors and contractors to ensure continued relationships and growth.  Excellent questioning and listening skills provide you with improved input from your team creating a greater contribution to excel at your mission.

In this course, we will show you how to prevent uncomfortable conflict, address the conflict head-on, and turn it from a difficult situation into an opportunity.  We will practice these skills with you in a hands-on and secure environment, so you will be ready when you are called upon for action at work, at home, or anywhere in life.  You can take conflict and turn it into an opportunity for a win-win every time.

In this course, you will:

  • Learn to identify sources of possible conflict for conflict preparation and prevention
  • Learn steps to take to reduce conflict and the potential for conflict
  • Learn skills to resolve existing conflict in a productive and collaborative manner
  • Discover a mindset that turns conflict into opportunity
  • Learn formal means and external resources for conflict resolution

Target Audience:

  • Executives and Managers
  • Employees
  • Board Members
  • Anyone who would like to turn conflict into opportunity

Alicia M. Page is a listed Rule 31 mediator for general Civil and Domestic matters in the State of Tennessee.  Ms. Page has been a certified mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution in both general civil and domestic relations matters since 2014.  She is a licensed attorney in both Georgia and Florida and has applied for her Tennessee license.  She attended Georgia State University for both undergraduate and law school. Ms. Page worked as the staff attorney for the three Judges of the Southwestern Judicial Circuit in Americus, Georgia, for over five years.  After a short time as a solo practitioner, Ms. Page found that she most enjoyed the mediation portion of her practice. She decided to move to the Chattanooga area and focus her practice solely on dispute resolution.
