Individuals may not realize how much the design of a program plays a role in their learning.  However; it is a systematic and reflective process.  It translates principles of learning and instruction into materials, activities and evaluation of each program that the learner participates in.

This session will focus on social learning and constructivism theories to create programs.  The ability to enhance a person’s knowledge and skill sets to maximize their potential is the ultimate goal of any well-designed program.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understanding basics of instructional design
  • Identifying theories
  • Exploring program examples
