Accountants have had measurement and reporting standards to guide them for years. Why not L&D and HR?  In this session led by Dave Vance, Executive Director of the nonprofit Center for Talent Reporting and former President of Caterpillar University, we will explore these standards called Talent Development Reporting Principles (TDRp) and how they can improve our planning, management, and measurement.

In this session you will be introduced to TDRp and the standard measures and reports. You will learn:

  • The three types of standard measures and the three recommended reports
  • The difference between managing and monitoring
  • How to create a robust measurement strategy employing effectiveness, efficiency, and outcome  measures
  • How to use the three standard reports to manage your program or department successfully through the year

David Vance is the Executive Director of the Center for Talent Reporting, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the creation and implementation of best practices and standards for human capital measurement and reporting. He is the former President of Caterpillar University, which he founded in 2001.
