WHY MINDSET MATTERS

The Outward Mindset workshop will focus on team-building and assist you in developing a mindset that sparks collaboration and accelerates innovation. It will help you and your team turn from an internal mindset that could cause us to be self-focused to a community focused outward mindset giving a perspective focused on the bigger picture and uniting teams to reach and exceed their goals.

This image describes the different characteristics of inward and outward mindsets. When we move from an inward to an outward mindset, we move from tunnel vision to awareness; from silos to collaboration; from blame to accountability; from stagnation to innovation; and from low morale to engagement.

This course equips participants with tools that enable them to:

  • Understand the two mindsets and their implications on results
  • Assess the extent to which they are working with an inward mindset
  • Change their mindsets to become more outward
  • Re-conceive their jobs to make them more outward
  • Hold themselves more fully accountable
  • Report on performance in a way that keeps them working outward
  • Work in a way that is more collaborative, fulfilling, and effective
  • Positively influence others to change
  • Address and resolve conflicts
