Manufacturers must do things differently to win market share in today’s environment because it is not enough to maintain the status quo.  To survive and thrive, manufacturers must focus on growth and improvements.  One way to achieve the stated goal is by leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies.  Industry 4.0 is about automation, data exchange, Internet of Things on the shop floor, utilizing cloud computing.  The goal is to have a “smart factory” with cyber-physical systems capable of autonomously exchanging information, trigger actions, and independent control.  This presentation will explain the new technology and the training and certification needed.

This is a joint program for Chattanooga Regional Manufacturers Association (CRMA) Alliance in Manufacturing Excellence (AIME) and Chattanooga Association for Talent Deveopment (ATD)

Our speakers are:

Andreas Brockmann,  Head of Technical Training and Education, Festo Didactic
