ATD CHATTANOOGA AREA CHAPTER
ANNUAL REPORT
PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Community without Boundaries
2020. What a year! It’s a feat to recap the things we’ve collectively experienced during this year. From murder hornets to a pandemic to all things “Zoom”, 2020 brought many challenges and perhaps equally, many opportunities.
One of the key opportunities 2020 presented our ATD Chattanooga chapter was community without boundaries. We were able to develop partnerships and friendships with folks outside of our geographical area in ways we never imagined.
In addition, we saw how our members and fellow ATD Chapters showed up for each other, encouraged each other, and inspired each other. This was the fuel that kept us going during these ever surprising times.
Personally, I want to say THANK YOU to those organizations and individuals who graciously donated their time, effort, and knowledge as they partnered with us in our programs which of course, were primarily virtual.
We compiled a list of these individuals and organizations and invite you to seek them out as a future resource. These are listed on the 2020 Partners Page.
We could not have done it without them or without you!
Happy Holidays!.

2021 CHAPTER ACTIVITIES
The pandemic is taking a heavy toll on the daily lives of our workforce not just in our area but all over the world. As we strive to help build our communities and the workforce, we need you. Talented people recognize the need and want to have an impact on the community. This is why in 2021 our vision is to partner with not only the local businesses in our surrounding areas; but to also get you our members involved in our chapter through utilizing their skills and talents.
This is a time to leverage your talents and develop others in sync with opportunities that our chapter has to offer. Our challenge to each member is to find a way to get involved. Ask any board member where they could use your help. Not sure, how to get started then feel free to contact me and let’s talk. I encourage each of you to participate somehow utilizing your time, energy, and talents to help our chapter be successful.
Let’s make 2021 the greatest year ever and move forward to push us to the next level.
Happy Holidays,
Karla Byrd
